The SWOSU Nursing program’s mission is health promotion, restoration and maintenance for all society through education of professional nurses, evidence-based practice, and service.
The SWOSU Nursing program was established in 1976 under the Department of Biological Sciences. The program was the first rural baccalaureate nursing program in Oklahoma.
