Alumni, emeriti, and friends of Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) recently came together for a weekend in Weatherford to celebrate SWOSU Football.
Over 55 participants gathered on the evening of Friday, March 31, in the Skyview Suite of the Pioneer Cellular Events Center for a football alumni mixer. The event was sponsored by the SWOSU Athletic Association. Attendees stayed to watch the SWOSU Football Spring Game on Flex-Chem Field at Milam Stadium.
The next morning, over 30 teams enjoyed a day of fun and competition in honor of SWOSU’s football heritage at the 2023 Football Legacy Golf Tournament at Prairie West Golf Club.
The Legacy Tournament benefits the SWOSU Football Legacy Fund which strengthens SWOSU’s football programs for the future. The Legacy Fund was established in 2015 by 2005 SWOSU alumnus Dustin Wall and 2006 SWOSU alumnus Michael Hart.
