The Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) Athletic Association is pleased to announce that SWOSU benefactors Wright Media and United Country Heard Auction & Real Estate are serving as Presenting Sponsors of the 19th Annual SWOSU Athletic Auction & Benefit Dinner. Ben E. Keith Company, Jett Distributing, and Consumer Textile Corporation (CTC) are providing Hospitality Sponsorships for the event.

Presenting Sponsors and Hospitality Sponsors provide valuable services and gifts-in-kind that help the Auction raise funds and provide support to SWOSU’s student-athletes and athletic programs.

Wright Media President Heston Wright of Weatherford attended SWOSU and serves on the SWOSU Athletic Association Board of Directors. Heston’s wife Claudia is a 1998 SWOSU alumna who is currently employed by the SWOSU Office of Human Resources. Wright Media includes the WestOK Weekly newspaper and the Wright Wradio broadcasting network as well as a diverse array of digital, video, and audio streaming services. Wright Media founders former State Rep. Harold Wright (SWOSU Class of 1971 & 2020 Distinguished Alumnus) and Carol (Roberson) Wright (SWOSU Classes of 1971 & 1980) of Weatherford are also both proud SWOSU supporters and benefactors, having established the Wright Family Endowment which benefits multiple SWOSU academic programs.

Corky (SWOSU Class of 1987) and Missy (SWOSU Classes of 1987 & 1992) Heard are the owners of United Country Heard Auction & Real Estate. Corky and Missy are the parents of two daughters. Their oldest, Jessica Perry (SWOSU Classes of 2014 & 2016) of Weatherford, is currently employed in the SWOSU Office of Institutional Advancement.

Matt Jett, President of Jett Distributing Company, is a 1994 SWOSU alumnus. He and his wife, Anji Jett, of Weatherford have three children. Jett Distributing will provide beverages for Auction guests.

Mark McLean, district sales manager for Ben E. Keith Company, is a 1988 & 1990 SWOSU alumnus. He and his wife, Elizabeth, are longtime SWOSU benefactors. Ben E. Keith will provide appetizers, dinner and dessert for the Auction.

Consumer Textile Corporation (CTC) is owned and operated by Elizabeth and Scott Johnson of Clinton. CTC provides event table linens for the Auction.

“We are grateful to Wright Media, United Country Heard Auction & Real Estate, and Jett Distributing, Ben E. Keith and CTC for their generous support of the 2025 SWOSU Athletic Auction,” said SWOSU Athletic Director Todd Helton. “These sponsorships are of critical importance to this event’s success as a fundraiser for SWOSU’s student-athletes.”
