Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) alumni Meghan (Browning) Harms and her husband, Landon Harms, of Weatherford, Oklahoma have made a generous gift commitment to the SWOSU Softball program.

The gift represents the first of its kind to the new SWOSU softball endowment fund.

Meghan is a 2009 SWOSU graduate. She played softball for the Lady Bulldogs from 2005-2009. After earning a bachelor’s degree from SWOSU, she continued her education at Harding University. Landon is a 2005 graduate of SWOSU. He too was a SWOSU athlete, playing baseball from 2000-2005. He owns and operates West Wind Home Inspections, LLC. in Weatherford.

The Harmses have two sons, Luke and Owen.

The SWOSU Softball Endowment allows former players and fans the opportunity to make a charitable contribution to SWOSU Softball to help support the program in perpetuity. Gifts made to the SWOSU Softball Endowment will be used for scholarships, recruitment and other team needs.

The SWOSU Foundation, Inc., was established in 1977 to promote philanthropy and distribute funds to support the activities and programs of SWOSU.
