A 40-year reunion honoring the Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) 1983 NAIA Championship Women’s Basketball Team will be held on February 25, 2023 at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center on the Weatherford Campus.

The festivities begin at Noon 25 with the unveiling of a display honoring Coach Loftin’s Basketball Legacy in the Pioneer Cellular Event Center. At 1:00 p.m. the SWOSU Women will take on Southern Nazarene University and the 1983 women’s team will be honored at halftime. The public is welcome to join in the celebration.
